To market products in Canada, safety certification for products, equipment, and particularly industrial machinery, is a fundamental requirement. This process is carried out by Certification Bodies (CBs) accredited by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC), as is the case with CSA certification. The assessment focuses on verifying that the product or machine complies with the applicable technical and legal safety standards in the workplace.
