The story of Sherpa Certification began with the vision and entrepreneurship of one of our founding partners, a telecommunications engineer with a strong track record of leading projects in positions of responsibility for several companies in the technology sector. Sherpa Certification was officially founded in the midst of the 2020 pandemic. It was a frantic period for certification, with disrupted markets and laboratories and notified bodies overwhelmed by the high demand for PPE and Medical Devices. Our efforts ensured that only products with sufficient conformity were supplied to health centres and public institutions, protecting society from potentially dangerous protective and health equipment. This work was recognised by local institutions, which awarded us the distinction of a 'socially responsible company' that provided key support during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, we have expanded our team and have successfully certified products for companies in more than 15 different countries, covering various markets and product types. Along the way, we have built an extensive network of trusted collaborators, including international laboratories and certification bodies, research and development centres, other consultancies, and public bodies. This network allows us to offer ever-increasing and more effective coverage, ensuring success in the conformity of our clients' products.
